Hot days of summer make it great POOL weather! Watch for storms!

Again, than you Vets! Hot conditions continue today with highs within a few degrees either side of 90 this afternoon. Showers and storms should fire up this afternoon but be scattered.
Tomorrow looks like a very good chance of showers and storms, some could be severe - temps will be in the 80s.
Upper 80s to around 90 again Wednesday with sunny skies.
Thursday will be back up to the 90 degree mark or more -
Friday looks to have the chance of storms return with highs still around 90.
Saturday may still hold a chance of storms but highs will be around the 80 to 85 degree mark north, still near 90 south.
Sunday looks nice with highs in the 80s and sunny.

All for now!

Caroline Weather Center Forecast For Central VA (May 20)

http://www.carolineweathercenter.com

Warmer today - Weekend looking will have a risk of rain. Could be very HOT if you lived elsewhere - try 130 degrees!

So we are sunny region wide and temps will respond. Widespread 80s. This looks to continue tomorrow, Unfortunately as the system approached from the west over the weekend, moisture will also stream north and give us a chance of showers and storm by Saturday, increasing chances from west to east. I am not thinking it will be a wash out, but something to monitor.

A hot place on the planet now is Jacobabad, Pakistan! Highs there will be around 130 degrees through the weekend! WOW!

Severe Storm threat to increase - especially tonight - Hail, Winds, and isolated tornadoes

Today will be hot and increasingly unstable. Storms will start to form, but more to the west, later today. Storms will have a lot of rain, winds, and hail. With the way that these storms are, it is possible that tornadoes could form as well. The chances of a tornado are not great, but a bit higher than what we normally see.

The storms will really hit the area more overnight and into Monday morning. Please stay alert for watches and warnings that could come up as soon as this afternoon to the west.

All for now!

Severe Threat Sunday - Strong storms, Hail, Winds, and Tornadoes are possible

The Severe Threat will increase Sunday - Storms with the potential of hail and high winds as well as tornadoes will start to affect the Western area and spread east. This will be something to stay on top of tomorrow! Storms are currently dumping flooding rains (in excess of 12 inches in some places) in Tennessee. Tornadoes are breaking out all over Arkansas. I am watching the videos o storm chasers on http://severestudios.com.

Stay alert tomorrow!
