It will be very cool and breezy today. Highs in the mountains will be in the 30s while southern regions go up to the low and mid 50s. Cold night with widespread 20s (mountains) and 30s elsewhere. Tomorrow will be about 5 degrees warmer with clouds on the increase and maybe some showers for parts of the region late. Tomorrow night into Thursday, showers could occur, and even high elevation snow showers.
A more significant system will come across the country and cause increases in showers Thursday night into Saturday. Temps will moderate to near seasonal at that point.
Clear and close to seasonal conditions will return Sunday and into next week.
A few cool news stories I came across in the last day.
