Cold conditions will finally become Seasonal after today! Possible Showers Saturday, but a good looking Halloween on Tap! POSSIBLE, colder pattern First week of November, but pattern still seems to favor Seasonal To Mild Conditions! That Dammed Cold Air! Since last Wednesday Temperatures have been staying in the 50's ( Some 60's) and very cool for a large part of the region east of the Mountains. It appears, that drier air will finally get to work in the upper atmosphere and break the damming a bit today, and more significantly tomorrow! The damming (or cold air trapped near the surface east of the mountains) is a result of a blocking large storm out in the Atlantic, and a High up in Canada. Check this Satellite that puts the Low in motion! Next Several Days: The rest of the week looks about on course for seasonal weather with temps in the 60's to lower 70's. Do not forget Wednesday Night's Lunar Eclipse! See details at Space.com Next chance of Rain will be next Saturday, and Sunday is looking OK for Halloween!! Long Range: There are signs, but not a strong conviction on my part, that a colder pattern could form next week for our region. I will keep you posted All for Now!
