Warmer air - but much less humid - Week coming of typical summer weather storms and warmth

Many locations yesterday reported rain totals of 1 inch or more, and some had much more! Today the dryer air is very refreshing and will make the hot 90 degrees seem cool compared to the roasting of last week. This week then presents 90 to 95 degree temps all week with daily chances of showers and storms in the afternoon. Better chances will occur Tuesday, but daily chances will begin Monday straight through Friday. We can REALLY use the rain as parts of the region are in a moderate drought.

Tropics are very quiet for now and look that way for the near future. We are behind what was going to occur in 2005 when Emily was born the day previous and she became a Category 5. That year was so intense!

All for now!
