Heat will return starting tomorrow and in earnest on Sunday. Hurricane Dennis comes close to a Category 5. Remnants MAY affect us next week, but not that likely a direct affect like Cindy. Heat ridge now looks like will build, and Dennis Remnants to make us very steamy!
Summary: Heavy rains did fall and isolated wind damage and flooding reports. A few tornadoes, but By and large I was pretty surprised at how much the area was spared. NC had many reports of tornadoes. Cindy is departing and warmth will build in this weekend. We could stay Hot and relatively dry except the typical afternoon chances of showers and thunderstorms.
